Collaborative Caregivers are Educated on COVID-19
Collaborative Home Care continues to serve our local communities with home care services during this challenging time. To protect our clients and our caregivers, we are consistently monitoring and following guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and the Connecticut Department of Health on best practices for the prevention and spread of COVID-19.
Please be assured that all of our caregivers have received training on infectious and communicable diseases, including COVID-19, and that we are in frequent contact with our caregivers regarding the situation. We have implemented a screening procedure that requires all caregivers to verify they and their clients are symptom-free prior to the commencement of a care visit. If the caregiver or their client is displaying symptoms, we have procedures to handle the situation.
